If they'd rebuild my engine and a few other things (blower motor and suspension) I'd be more than willing to leave them the Eclipse for R&D. Hell, once i get the Evo motor I might just do that. IF they're willing to develop parts for other cars. I would think about having them do parts for the R31.

nothing to claim here. I have been going onto a few forums in the search of someone who can help me get my car emission tested but it is not working out to great.

Damn. Sorry to hear that. You could always get a USDM D16 and swap it in and out when its time for emissions. Lol

So the only update I have right now is no update because my car is sitting right where it is going to be sitting until I can get a new engine. I got pulled over driving my car locally in town yesterday. Not the best start to my week lol. The cop was so super nice to not give a criminal offense and haul me off to jail and impound the car. So happy but will have to use this as a learning experience to listen to my Fiance lol. She has been telling me all the time not to drive my car. I got 5 citations one for not having registration, one for living in AZ w/ expired out of state registration (Criminal offense but he was cool about, and kinda sounds the same as the first one right?), one for no proof of insurance because I cancelled it last time it went in the shop cause why pay for it when I'm not riving and forgot to add it on again, one for a broken windshield, and one for the reason he pulled me over because apparently my brake lights are out. At least I found out my brake lights don't work lol. So after all that I have to go to court and will be paying over $3K in fines. But hey after it was all said and done I got some compliments from the cop on my car, lol, he said just don't drive it anymore. So all this will be cutting into my funds in January and will probably not be replacing my minivan until summer unless something else happens.

You could say that again. Plus that 3000 you have to sped on fines could've bought you a USDM engine, plus some new parts. At least you're not in jail and the Civic isn't impounded.

yeah if I lived outside Maricopa county I could register my car without emission testing. I could find someone to let me use there address easy enough but then I have to go and get a new license with the wrong address too.

They wont know if you live there or with your fiancee. If you lived outside of the county, you could register your car as is.

Yeah I figure I will get an engine stand and start taking it apart cleaning and possibly upgrading as I go along and then get an older civic hopefully a 90 wagon to put it in.
