How do I do custom body work?

As some of you may know, my wife and i are looking to start our own build in the future. my question is, how do you do fiberglass? since we are wanting to do a widebody, but nobody makes one for the 2000-05 Mitsubishi Eclipse's we have to build our own using Chevy or Dodge dually rear fenders, and mold them into the car. what are some basics we'd need to know? Hopefully, my wife and i will be getting our own place soon, so this build will have to wait until AT LEAST summer '12.

Sorry man don't anything about fiberglass but I would recommend youtube, I have found so many useful things there.

Like he said, there's actually a series of videos on youtube from, Grassglass? I think that's the name of the channel. But they tell you how to make molds, lay the fiber glass, all that. And I've seen quite a few other ones on there. Make sure you buy enough stuff to make at least 3 practice molds before you go full force on making the pieces you actually plan on using, since this will be your first time. Fiberglassing is one thing you don't want to take short cuts on. Make sure you lay down enough coats of PVA before adding a gelcoat.
