2012 Civic Si - side project
Ok, so this is a little weird but this thread is not for my own car but my moms new 2012 Civic Si coupe in Dyno Blue Pearl. While my hatch sits and waits for a new life I have my moms car to modify to her liking. As of right now the car is stock except for her Broadway rearview mirror and also the Black Works Racing rear tow hook recently ordered. The civic is really nice and super quick in comparison to any other stock Hondas I have driven. This Si is powered by a 2.4 liter K24 with a six speed transmission and drives so smooth and shifts effortlessly. The coupe is Dyno Blue Pearl which is an amazing color in any light, and the BWR tow hook we are waiting to receive is green, should be a pretty decent color combo. We ordered the tow hook from Streetobsessions.com, for any orders or questions it is best to contact https://www.facebook.com/StreetObsessions. Future plans include new exhaust, rims, lug nuts, Red Honda emblems, and anything else I can talk her into lol. Been talking with the guys over at PasswordJDM.com about new parts for the '12 civics and they are in development on a few things that they hope to release in the near future. Trying to convince her that the carbon hood and trunk would look good but she is just not digging the carbon look for some reason. Ok so how about some pics.

Well put enough carbon fiber on it and lose some weight it might help gain like .01 MPG LOL

Re: 2012 Civic Si - side project
Okay got in some tint for the foglights and some carbon overlay to cover up the small ding on the gas lid. Here is how they turned out.
Before and after
And the carbon sheet turned out fairly good. But the ding is still visible so now I will be on the hunt for someone to make me a carbon fiber fuel door.

Re: 2012 Civic Si - side project
Get a hold of VIS or Extreme Dimensions for the fuel door. If you hadn't mentioned the tint on the fogs, I'd have sworn they were factory. lol looks good.

Re: 2012 Civic Si - side project
I contacted a few companies that do custom Carbon work for some prices and I will see what they say, but my mom said she might just go to the body shop and have them fill and smooth it would most likely be a lot cheaper that way. I am pleased with how the foglights turned out and they were very easy to take apart and put the film on.
