Ok guys since my B13 is no more and I've been away let me show what I have now. Back in December I got a 2001 Subaru Forester S that was one owner and only had 129k on it. Now it is an automatic but IMO if I needed to get something with room for a family to grow and for the wifey to ocasionally drive, I'd rather it be something AWD and fun rather than slushing around a FWD. Anyways for now I'll post up pics since I'm tired and having to go to work in the morning. I'll talk about my gameplan later on. I assure you though I am not slamming this! I can't stand to see capable Subaru's neglected to scrapping driveways.

very clean subbie man, has potential to be a very nice ride. I love a good subaru and have thought of getting one but have go with EVO as my next car purchase. These things are very nice and highly underrated.

Pretty slick. Like D said, they are highly underrated. If i got a subie it was wither going to me one of these or a Bugeye. Can't wait to see how this build goes.

Gonna be nice to see a build on something a little more out of the norm.
In for updates on this one.

Thanks man and nice to hear that from a kid your age too! Well for now as you can see from my last pic, I have an awesome wife. I have an Razo Quickshift A/T Shift Knob, Razo Titanium A/T Pedals, a "Topspeed Pro 1 " intake pipe (your basic universal China-shit pipe Rolling Eyes ) and old school APC RE-Works air filter. Yeah it's a shit-china "American" Products Company piece but I gotta give credit to the fact that clamps in the kit are fucking beefy not shit you'd take off the back of your dryer. Honestly I got pipe and filter for experimentation because Subaru guys have different setups that they claim work. Some say running a pipe to the stock box with a panel filter is the best, some say running a short ram setup with the stock air box in place work best. So I'm gonna try the SRI method and if not I'll just use the stock pipe with flexible hose connected to the fender and run a ram/cold air setup then. As for the rest of the build I'm torn between running a 1"-2" lift with some all-terrains or mud-terrains and go rally-style or go for a very moderate 1" drop using a WRX stock suspension which bolts onto my Foz (Thank you Subaru for building Lego cars! Very Happy ) I will not ever drop this car too low. It fucking annoys me to see all these WRXs and STIs being wasted just so someone can join a "fad". Those cats driving Scoobies that are less than inch off the ground? They replace ball joints and wheel hubs more than high school cheerleader changes sex partners. I have to say for a tall wagon/suv it surprisingly has good body roll. Yeah it's no DC2 Type-R but hell with some stiffer sway bars and strut towers this car should be fun in the corners!! Whew OK I'm done for now will post up pics HOPEFULLY later this week with the installs.

I shoulda been born ten years earlier than I was. My brother raised me so I've got a 90's mentality, I think all of the cds I own are pre-2000 haha. I never had the chance to get into these new "fads" you see in High Schools today, plus I'm a redneck so I can't really relate to these little boys runnin around in their sisters pants.

But as for the Scoob, I'd say go the rally look. Lifted Foresters are always pretty sweet. I've seen two of them around my area, but they look like rat shit because they take em muddin and just slam them into trees Twisted Evil
Paint looks clean on it but do you plan on ever changin the color or are you just gonna do subtle mods here and there?

I like the idea of a slight drop just to make it more of a street friendly vehicle. I'm not a big fan of ever getting any where near the mud.

I like the two-tone actually and if I decide to go off-road on it I want to get the bottom part rhino-lined and have it paint matched. I really think though I may start out with clean japan-inspired style.

Well was going to install all my parts in the parking lot of my wifes job today. Managed to get my Razo brake pedal on and that's it LOL the gas pedal and the Razo Quickshift A/T knob were being a pain in the ass to install and I need to hack off a couple of inches of that intake pipe to get the filter to fit in the engine bay oh well lol.

I hate installing pedals... -___- seriously takes me like an hour every time I attempt it, and it seems like it should be so simple..

I'd love to get some aftermarket pedals for the Eclipse. Not those pedal covers you get at Walmart or Auto Zone either, the real ones. lol
