Tell me about it, I didn't see much sludge when I pulled the valve cover off so I thought they changed the oil regularly.. Nope.. Pulled one head bolt and the stench of rotten oil filled up my kitchen, I'm curious to see the what the rest of the motor looks like once I pop the head off.

Shouldn't be toooo bad as long as he didn't let it overheat when the water pump went out. Honda engines are strong, and built to endure punishment, but they're biggest enemy is overheating. If your light comes on on your dash, it's too late and the motors toast, I'm rebuilding it so it shouldn't be an issue but it'd just make everything easier if there's no damage to the block.

I will but need to get some money to buy parts lol. My hatch is kind of just going to be sitting there until I can either get it emission tested by some one or find another car or shell that will be street legal.

Gettin some mugen mf8s in their original finish, original valve stems and center caps, with tires. They haven't produced that wheel in 13 years and finding a set in this mint of condition is very hard. Sooo stoked!!

Also checked out some stuff from ICB. Dropping about 400 more dollars on some more mugen goodies to go with the wheels. I feel like a douche buying so many JDM parts though.. Haha

Very nice find on the wheels man congrats on that! I love ICB last time I went in their little shop it was awesome, not much room to walk around with the lobby being full of great rare JDM parts. Their main office is located here in Phoenix AZ and the guys running it are the nicer dudes ever.

Well accords and preludes are both 4x114.3 so the mf8s that I'm buying would fit the accord exactly how they fit my lude, all the aforementioned mugen parts I'm buying are universal for Hondas so they'd all work on the accord. But I'm also looking for a mint condition mugen bumper and spoiler. Found one spoiler on eBay but I'm not sure if its authentic and I'm not rocking any fake parts. I don't know if they made any aero parts for the accords. I'll post a picture of the exact mf8s I'm getting that the seller sent me.

Those are the exact wheels on the dude's accord he built. I think he had it featured somewhere, I'll ask him where. Pretty cool that I'll have such an immaculate set of discontinued wheels considering the asking price is more than reasonable. I don't think I've ever been so stoked on an addition to the car as I am for the wheels.

So how much are you paying for the rims? They do look nice though I can't say is want them on my Accord. Lol. And 450 bucks isn't too bad. Wish I had extra money to toss at my car.

This will be the ONLY place I post the price I'm payin for the wheels. The only reason I say this is I have a build thread on Honda-tech as well.
Only 1200 dollars for wheels n tires shipped. Mf8s in shitty condition, not in their original finish go for at least 1600. The seller originally had them posted for 1800 but due to the economy he's had to drop the price. I'm at the point where I can afford the wheels at asking price and I feel that it's a good deal on both sides. Discontinued wheels that are in IMMACULATE condition, in their original finish with original center caps, forged and produced by one of the top tuning garages in Japan for that price, can't beat it. I had no intentions of making this car "JDM" but I've been bitten by the mugen bug; and I've just come across so many good deals I just can't pass em up.

I've actually come across quite a few sets of rare ass wheels for good prices but they're all 4x100. I've been lookin for these in 4x114.3 for months and almost settled and bought rpf1s. Glad I didn't. Right nows the best time to buy expensive/rare wheels because they're priced good and the value is only gonna go up.

$1200!!! in THAT condition??? Damn man, maybe you can give me a few pointers on how to find killer wheels like that. I'd love to find me a set of Enkei Arashi or Shogun's.
