Hey everybody's got to start from somewhere. Looks like the side scoops are molded which is going to a complete bitch but hell you're gonna have to sand down all that shit paint anyways. What are your plans for it?

As do I. welcome by the way. Always had a bit of a soft spot for the EG and EK hatch, and I'm by far a Honda guy. I personally would like to see custom, but if you like the look of OEM, go for it. It's your car. All i can say is make it good. Wink LOL Either way, i love a good build thread.

    Right on! Another classic de-ricing.
I wish I woulda went this route from the beginning, buying a cheaper car that needed work, rather than a pretty straight, more expensive car that I'm gonna end up stripping anyways.. haha.
Definitely gonna be keeping an eye on this one, can't wait to see some progress.
Besides returning the outside to freshy OEM, what other plans do you have for it? What kinda powerplant you thinkin? Or are you not really building it for performance?
And if the hood doesnt have any damage, post it on craigslist (or any other similar site) and just post it as a trade for a OEM hood, you'd be surprised how minty some of the OEM parts are you can get on those sites for your jacked up aftermarket ones.
    Good luck with your build.

Just don't go bashing others because they have kits on their car. lol. (not saying you would). Car tuning is a form of art, it's all in how you interpret it. Useless mods on a car just make it look good, but some aero kits are actually necessary. But, everyone likes different things.

I wasn't calling you out. lol. Always good to see a fellow car enthusiast. People who truly appreciate the work put into a car regardless if they like the platform or the end result. I probably have the weirdest ideas for a project on here. My thread has a nice 10 pages (I'm quite active on here, and have a lot planned for my car) A lot of people could learn from you and your attitude about cars.

Yeah we all here are very open to all the different styles of cars and ideas for what everyone wants to do. The build sounds good and I am looking forward to the progress you have planned. I too have a lot of work ahead of me since I bought a car that was not kept in the best of condition and requires a lot of work.
