Hey Guys after reading the threads on your awesome cars thought i'd better throw one up on my OLD (school) lol beast.
1st up heres an overview of the car as it is now:

    1985 S3 910 Bluebird Ultra Wagon

    Motor: VQ30det ex Y34 gloria

Transmission: ....Jatco RE4R01A .... 4 speed auto with lock up converter from the gloria

tail shaft: a modified EF falcon

rear end: factory H190 disc brake rear end

    radiator: VL commodore 3 core

    front brakes: R31

ECU: factory one out of the Gloria

    Wheels: Watanabe's F8 front; 16 x7 Rear; 16 x 8

Hprw: 190 (not totaly acurate as had a few problems with it on the dyno she loves to spin her wheels lol read on for more about it)

Other mods: Boost Contoller running 14psi
    custom front sway-bay, 2.5" exhaust,
custom made front coil springs, enclosed podfilter,
    central locking, power windows

Plans for the car over the next year: A brake upgrade on the front to Hr31 (she needs it),
An intercooler not sure on what type im going for yet (space is a big issue for me),
    A transmission cooler,
looking at a bigger turbo but again space being an issue,
Finishing the paint job (back around the bottom half not sure up to where 2 spots in mind),
    A new custom radiator
& a few other twecks to her as time & money permits lol

This car is my Daily driver & its motor and running gear are compleatly factory stock (for now!) I love driving her, it gets a few looks & a few suprised by it ha ha.

insead of boring you all with a long build thread on the car i'll just throw up a few pics of its life history so far up to now Very Happy

& most recent her 1st Dyno Day:
Had alittle trouble with her on this day 1st up they wanted us on 1st so she didnt get too much time to cool down, 2nd he said he didnt want to do an auto WTF ? , 3rd she just wanted to spin her wheels on the dyno (rear end to light) so i got 3 of the SDC (sydney datsun club) guys to jump in the back of it, but it only made a small difference we still gave her a go, was aliitle dissapointed but considering all the problems & that is still stock & an auto i had to be happy with its 190hprw Very Happy i feel maybe it should hav been closer to 200hprw i'll take her along to another one (need hevier guys lol) anyway it was good except for being totaly smashed by my partners Bluebird that did 420hprw (its just aliitle bit worked lol thou) .

I'll place the video in after 7days Smile
Well thats about it for now, sorry about all the pics its how i keep a record of my car i'll throw up some more pics on how she looks latter (love taking photos of it)

I should have done something cool like that. Instead of buying a moderately expensive car and fixing it up, buy an old car and do the same. Maybe in a few years!

That's what i love about my 2001 Eclipse Artema, it's paid for so (wife permitting) my money goes to fixing it up nice. Currently she's in the shop getting the timing set on the new motor and installed with a short ram intake and header. New bumper is on the way, shipped out yesterday.

Not sure about the body style honestly LadyDatsin. I guess to me it depends on the car. But i like what you did, nice combo of old and new school. I personally would like to see body mods, but that's my thing. What you did was cool. You Aussies have all the luck with cars. I wish i could rock an R34 four door.

    Yeah, Thanks guys Smile
You either hav to love or hate the 910 bluebird lol she 80's retro designed with a ruler and pencil lol (hence very square shape) thats what i love about them im very old school i am think of putting flares on the gurds like the old Furry Bluebird that use to race here in Aus back in the 80's and finish the paint work but thats it, body wise.
The R34's are awesome !! i personly like the R33 better would love to own one but looking at getting an early GTR stagea Razz love my wagons lol

believe it or not, the R33 made from January 1996-June 1998 are the only Skylines under 25 years old legal in the US. Dminted and i want an R34 bad. He's willing to move and i'm just short of willing to import one, even if it is illegal. lol. I've thought about an R30 or 31 four door. Over 25 years in the US you don't need to pass emissions or crash safety standards, They reckon the cars are built solid enough to withstand a collision. I'd love to swap an RB26DETT in one. I'll wait (very impatiently) for an R34.

yes we both love the skyline name and I too will be waiting unless I can somehow make it over seas and then own my own R34. Love this wagon though it looks great, I am a big fan of the more boxy style of the older cars. And as far as the Stagea GTR that would be awesome to have.

The engine is nice and big and can prove to be difficult to work on. That radiator looks nice and shiny and alot bigger than anything I would ever need in my 1.5 lol. good to see some progress going into her.

Loving the progress on the wagon. Since i was talking with a shop in Utah who imports and legalises JDM rides 25 years and older, I've become hooked on wagons, wanting an R31 wagon.
