What i really want for the time being is to be able to get the Mustang punks to shut up. 210 is a respectable amount, but i want to be running up around 300-400. I loved the look on one guys face when he asked why i didn't just get a V8 with a manual. I replied "because i like hooking up, taking off first, and leaving you at the gas station". Mustang drivers can be so obnoxious. Once the car is said and done I'm hoping to have a respectable 500-ish whp.

Here's the motor i want to go with. A JDM 7 bolt 4G63t at JDM Source in Calgary AB, Canada for $1,250 plus shipping. I plan on getting it after the first of the year, sooner if we can. I think it would look real nice sitting under the hood, with an aftermarket turbo manifold, intercooler, and wastegate. lol

On a totally random note, I'm thinking about importing an R33. If i do, and that's a big IF, should i go with a coupe or a sedan? I doubt it will be a GTR, as i want to keep the cost low, and i can always drop an RB26DETT at a later date.

I would do the coupe but I know you like the sedan style a little more. So get whatever you feel more comfortable with. And as far the debate on a GT-R it is more than just the engine that your getting and I would not import one unless it was a GT-R. Just my opinion but I like having the most I can get lol.

I posted two other posts besides the one mentioning a Skyline bro. lol. But seriously, should i shave the lines off of the bottom of the doors of the Eclipse like in the photo? And i will be getting a JDM 4G63t once my income taxes come in. Can't wait to be driving my car again. But, once i get the Skyline, it'll be hard to drive both. lol Seriously considering an R33 coupe. Throw a harness bar in the back with a set of seats and harnesses and viola! no kids in the car. Lol!

For that model I actually like the lines across the bottom and would keep them. Tax season is a big season for all of us who want to make a large purchase, lol.

YEah, i kinda have to agree with you Dennis. I'm not doing any kinds of graphic, so it wont hurt one bit to leave it. I can't wait to repaint it, add some carbon fiber pieces, and widen the body. All in due time. Gotta start looking for a Skyline next year.

Just keep it simple but crazy at the same time. Good luck on the Skyline hunt.

Yeah, the Eclipse will be simple to a point. One color, carbon fiber pieces, custom interior, wide body, and of course, turbo 2.0L engine (for now) Once i get the Skyline and Sarah and I get a little more settled in our next house (sometime in the next couple of years) I'll drop the Evo motor, gut the car to a shell and start building the undercarriage and rotary. That might happen after i get the RB26DETT swapped into the Skyline.

Currently looking for a JDM Evolution 4G63t. Will keep you posted on what i find. Hope to buy one in January and have it put in. What's left over will get the new bumper put on,fix the heater/blower, and MAYBE if i can get them cheap enough, get a set of racing buckets. The main thing will be fixing the car and saving for the Skyline. I'm going to shoot for an R33, just not sure if we end up with a sedan or coupe. Worst case scenario, I'll have to abandon the R33 and get a DR31. But i've done a lot of research and i have some very credible resources as far as importation and legalization is concerned, so I'm not too worried. lol

Kinda have to kick myself a little bit. With the money I'll be dropping on an R31 next year I could very well have finished the Eclipse. Evolution motor, interior, wheels, widebody, paint, carbon fiber pieces etc. Just the parts i want off Andy's Auto Sport only come to a grand total of $1,627.26 plus shipping. But I'll just keep it at a good running Evo motor, maybe a set of seats and have the bumper put on, then the rest of my earnings next year (reenlistment bonus and income tax return, plus pay checks) will go toward the Skyline. God i can't wait. Cool

Going to be looking for a set of racing buckets, a carbon fiber intake, and some gauges for the car in the near future too. Not a whole lot is going to be done other than get the Eclipse running and looking decent, as funds are going to be going toward my Skyline purchase next year.

Found me a new truck. It'd be perfect to drive out to Utah and pick up the Skyline, plus hauling the Eclipse. if i could find a big enough box trailer maybe even Sarah's BMW. lol

But on a slightly more serious note, i would like to get a few carbon fiber interior pieces for the Eclipse to complement the carbon fiber going on the outside and the Millennium Jade i'll be going with. Think i might paint the R31 in Bayside Blue...

It's my dads but he never drives it unless he's hauling his 5th wheel/toy hauler or whatever you wanna call it. I use it weekly. Haha.
Yeah.. It's nice for the towing capacity but its completely impractical for anything else. Haha. Turbo diesel though, ours has a bigger trim turbo and a chipped Ecu with a tune so it gets alright Gas mileage considering its size.. Almost 12mpg I think hahahahh
