Totally go for it mate. But don't swap in an SR, go with a 13B-REW or an LS1 since you're wanting to drift it. I'd make it a dd for a while while you get the Prelude going and once that's done, start on the RX7. But that's just me. lol If you decide to swap the motor, hit me up. I'd LOVE to have a 13B... If my wife would say yes, I'll take it.

Well that's just it... The car won't start, could be something simple, could be some ridiculousness rotary issue I don't even wanna deal with... But if it ended up bein an easy fix, I'd just stick to the 13b, they're a powerhouse and the repairs would be fraction of the cost of a 20b. If it was too big of a problem I'd pull it, sell it and buy an ls1. Completely strip the interior, do a major suspension upgrade, rattle can it and call it good.....
It's cheap as hell and the body isn't too bad... Shell is worth the asking price alone in all honesty...

Alright ladies, don't for a second think I forgot about you!!!
I've been workin my ass off, 6 day weeks, overtime almost everyday, and I just got my laptop back from Dell, so back to it!
A local was parting out his 4th gen lude last weekend so I stopped by to see what was up. I get there and it's literally dumped to the fucking concrete. I was like.. wtf is up with this? Look over and see a set of adjustable coilovers sitting there. So I picked up a set of adjustables, a spare trunk that has the stock spoiler, as you can see from the other pictures, mine doesn't have it. And an "SI" guage cluster (white guage face).
I'll probably sell the guage cluster, I'll repaint the spare trunk when I shoot the whole car and then I'll have the option of running stock spoiler setup, no spoiler, or carbon fiber trunk, whenever I want Cool
I'll go take some pictures, because apparently I forgot to, they'll be up shortly.
I need to clean up the coilovers, they'll be goin through the tumbler and getting polished before goin on, gonna buy some new gaskets before throwin em on aswell. Super stoked though!
    Stay tuned.

Well there they are. Like I said, the coilovers need some cleaning, and they're just temporary ones until I start the full build.

well for some reason its not letting me fix/resize the pictures, but I cleaned up the coilovers and they look a million times better. They're still gonna go throught the tumbler and get soda blasted but I got em started. Pics ina few.

Wow, I've been a terrible member of this family. Sorry to keep you fellas in the dark. Been working a lot lately. 14 days in a row with a couple 12 hour shifts in there.
But it's all worth it. Starting to get a good amount saved up in the bank and should be getting some things going here soon.
Me and a coworker are actually in the process of opening up our own shop. We've already got 3 customers lined up for some pretty fun projects, and we hope to have our first car in the shop by the first of September.
Within the next 8 months I'll be coming into a lot of money, and I've decided to buy and S2000.
First couple purchases for the s2k will be a full widebody aero kit, some wheels, and a hardtop. After that, all of my time and savings will be getting dumped into the Prelude.

Those will be the first purchases for the s2k. Haven't decided on wheels yet, if I even end up getting any.
After the prelude is done, I plan to make the s2000 a completely streetable race car. Plaster our shop name on the side, and track it, all while still driving it to work everyday. The Prelude will remain mostly a show car.
My business partner owns an MKIII Supra with a 1jz twin turbo swap that'll also be getting a makeover once we get our shop started. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted with videos and photos of every project we tackle.
It's been a lot of waiting, saving, and collecting parts, but soon enough I should have plenty of content for you guys. So stay tuned, sorry it's taking so long.

Sounds like you have a really good thing going right now. Good luck with all of your endeavors. I like the kit choice on the S2000 but not really diggin the hard top, it makes it look too coupish lol. I like the style of the S2000 for it being a roadster and would love to be able to have one in the future, but I prefer the more subtle hardtop like this - http://www.gtmotoring.com/product_info.php?products_id=642

    or

But hey it's your build and as long as it is something that you are going to like it will be awesome. Congrats on opening a shop I know that is a dream for a lot of us within the community and for one of us to make it happen is a great achievement.

    Thanks Dennis.
I have looked at quite a few different hard tops, and I think I decided to go with the Mooncraft after seeing it installed on the APR s2000. With the look I'm going for I think it'll suit me best. And when it comes to the price... you really can't beat it. $2600.00 vs. 4-5 grand for an OEM or Mugen rep.

Well I found an s2000 up in Washington, calling the dealer today.
It's priced way too good to be true, so I'm assuming it's got a salvaged title. I'm gonna call and get the complete low down on the car, since I've got cash in hand, and I'm considering driving 7 hours from Oregon, they better give me a full car fax and run down on the car before I even leave my house.
I'm assuming it was in a front end collision, which could either be nothing but some bumper and fender damage, or the whole frame could be tweaked, which if that's the case, needless to say I won't be buying it..
Oh yeah it's got a Mugen Hardtop on it already too..
Could possibly have an s2000 here in the next couple days.. I'll keep ya posted.

Well I've seen pictures of it so I know it's not really beat up, I just don't know if the frame is straight and if there's any engine damage.
Still waiting for them to get back to me, I sent them an email this morning, not impressed with their response time so far..

Still haven't gotten back to me.
Seems like they aren't to concerned with selling their cars.
If I don't hear back from them by tomorrow I guess I'll start lookin for another one.
Really wanted this one to work out considering it had the Hardtop and that's like a 3-4 thousand dollar purchase if I buy one without a hardtop.
