Yeah if I do end up getting a new swap I would be holding on to the D15B for an old Civic wagon.

Ok so if I can't have my car being worked on to get it going I guess I will have to settle for my minivan going in the shop, lol. My van went in the shop yesterday and will be back out tomorrow. Had some issues with it losing power and needed it serviced to be ready for emission testing. After a diagnostic found out that the intake manifold was not allowing air in because of some broken clips that were holding shut the valve ports and that the EGR valve had to be replaced. So once that is done and I shell out over $1300 I get to go and wait in line forever to get it inspected and registered, how fun lol. Oh well gonna see about getting some personal plates for it though, gotta see whats available and compromise with my GF.

Get plates that read MOM VAN and tell her they couldn't do MAN VAN. lol. I tried suggesting a minivan to my wife and had to run and hide. So, yeah, we're sticking to cars and SUVs.

That's too bad about the civic. Wonder what is causing the problem...

M1NT3R huh? Nice. Wish my name would fit on my plates. But the closest i could get would be Tidus, Austin, or USA 92G or SPC USA (USA= US Army, SPC= Specialist.) Have thought about SGT USA or SGT 92G. Not sure yet.

    For dammit? lol

Yes, there are a lot of options. But i have to pick carefully as there can only be ONE plate of it's type. (for example, you used M1NT3R, someone else who wanted to use "Minter" would have to use MINTER. Oh, and it cant be read or interpreted as anything sexual, vulgar, racist, or discriminatory in any way, shape form or fashion. Even what's on the vanity plates is taken into what you want put on it.

Yeah MINTER was already taken and so was M1NTER so I had to make it different. I know that DMINT is still available, I can check online for plate personalize that are available. I noticed when I went to get the plates they ask you what it means.

Oh they get PICKY as hell. First it's run through a computer, then a board, and ultimately its passed or vetoed. There have been some who have appealed the veto due to a last name, or a nickname or something, but not very often.

Ok so I just got off the phone with Import Power House and a Towing company. The hatch will be going in the shop tomorrow to figure out the electrical issue that I can't. And while it's in there I will see about having a new IAC and V-Tec solenoid housing put on so that the idle is much better and fuel mileage too. Also gonna have a new coupling for the steering column installed and if I have enough left from that I will have them fix up my exhaust so that it fits properly and doesn't vibrate on the bottom of the car anymore. Very exciting to be having some work done on it and will let you all know ho it is going.

You lucky SOB. lol. Can't say i blame the excitement. I remember how excited i was when the Yuna went to G&N to have the new engine put it. Now, she sits with a knoicking engine and Sarah and I are saving up for a 4G63T Evolution/Eclipse GST motor, hopefully JDM. wish they could do something about the OBD II compatibility...

I know the feeling. But, that's why i don't live in a city with emissions. I'd love to see your car back on the road. Everytime i come home, i feel a twinge of sadness over Yuna. Wish i had the $1250 to get the JDM 4G63T. Hopefully once taxes come in.

got it towed in to the shop this morning and it is now sitting in there waiting for me in the morning!!!!!! Super excited, they got the electrical issue fixed which I feel completely stupid for because I know i checked them all but it was a bad fuse Embarassed . After getting the car to crank they reset the codes and checked again then hooked me up with an IAC and oil pressure switch so my V-Tec will now work lol. Then took the wire harness out and completely redid it so it has all new wires and looks professional and not home made anymore. They also fixed my exhaust to make it fit correctly by cutting it up and adding some length to the pipe. ordered a new coupling for the steering column and as soon as that comes in will have that on and also need to get a new throttle cable since the one on there has messed up threads and I can't adjust it. All that to have it finished and i only spent about $500!!!!

Went down to ICB Motorsports today to get some red H badges for the Si( will post pics on the other thread ) and found a very nice set of rims I would love to have provided I can gather up another $1400 lol.

That's awesome man. Good to hear there'll be more updates on the hatch.
    Those Spoon wheels are incredible.
I was reading about the ICB you were talking about on the civic thread. Wish we had one of those around here.. Shipping cost is what's killing me with all my purchases I want to make.

I know the feeling Jay. Shipping is what hinders a lot of purchases for us all. Hence why i haven't bought a new engine from Ebay.

yeah I am very fotunate to have so many companies close by, when i wanted my exhaust I had the 700 bucks to spend on one but could not afford the 100 extra to ship but found Vivid Racing close by and ordered there. With ICB and Vivid Racing and BWR so close it's awesome.
